Evan insisted on bringing his ball on our run this afternoon, Sunday, Feb. 20. He bounced and carried a soccer ball while sharing with me tips on dribbling.
Besides demonstrations on "traveling" and "double-dribbling," we enjoyed the 60-degree weather through our neighborhood. We also talked about the company that had just left our house. It was Eric's friend and his dad, who works at Evan's school. Evan said he had fun with the little boy, especially swimming, but: "mom, he (the dad) is my assistant principal." I told him that he behaved well and was nice to Eric and his friend :).
While I could have gone further, Evan was ready to end it, so here are our stats (minus the ball/dribbling stats):
Time: 25:40
Distance: 1.19 miles
Calories: 72.6
Steps: 2911
Pace: 2.6
I noticed our pace is the same as last time but we did go a little further in a little longer period of time. With that, Evan is starting soccer practice twice/week so we probably won't run again until next weekend.
Farewell: (Again, no proof of a ball, but he really did have one. He did want to wear my iPhone in the armband.)
Happy Running!
Glad to see you two are still at it!! We are settled here in our new town. Yay. There's a 10K here in Newcastle in July...I'm thinking of signing up.
